Baltic power grids are successfully synchronized with the European network

The transmission system operators of Estonia (Elering), Lithuania (Litgrid) and Latvia (AST) have confirmed the successful synchronization of their countries to the Continental Europe Synchronous Area (CESA) electricity system over the weekend.

This achievement means the Baltic states have now joined the synchronous grid of Continental Europe, serving over 400 million customers and strengthening the resilience and integration of the European electricity grid.
