As of October 1st, new regulatory reforms covering India’s power sector have come into effect, aiming to boost the country’s non-fossil fuel energy resources by 50% by 2030.
The reforms include renewable energy forecasting and scheduling, as well as new procedures for compliance, verification, and grid testing.
GO15 member Grid India played an important role in crafting these reforms, collaborating with the Indian federal government to prepare more than 20 procedures from July to September of this year.
